The Great Brookland Yard Sale is about month away and going strong. So far there over 30 yard sales registered and it’s not to late to get involved and to register your yard sale. Once you register your yard sale will be included on the online and printed maps.

If you don’t have a yard, don’t worry. St. Anthony’s Catholic school is teaming up with the Brookland Neighborhood Civic Association and are renting tables for $20.00, or bring your own table for a $15 fee.

Tables will be on 12th Street between Lawrence and Monroe beginning at 7:30 AM. The sale generally runs from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM.

Lastly the Greater Brookland Garden Club will be having their Annual Spring Plant Sale as part of the GBYS.

The GBGC Plant Sale will be located at the Long and Foster Parking lot at 12th and Newton NE and will have Great plants at great prices and all locally grown

The GBGC will be selling garden plants such as perennials, some shrubs and small trees, mostly from Brookland gardens. They will also have herbs, vegetables, flowering annuals, and some house plants for sale.

Last year I got a horseradish plant, they have plants of all kinds.
